Pasiar (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application (the “App”) designed for trip planning, location sharing, and photo sharing.

• Account Information: Name, email address, profile picture, and login credentials when you register or sign in via third-party services (e.g., Google or social login).
• User Content: Photos, videos, trip titles, itineraries, captions, comments, and notes you upload or share within the App.

Location Data

• Geographical Location: With your explicit permission, we collect precise or approximate location data from your mobile device to enable trip tracking, location tagging on shared photos, map routes, and nearby recommendations. You can enable or disable location services at any time in your device settings.

Media & Device Permissions

• Camera & Photo Library: We access your device’s camera and photo library only when you grant permission to capture or upload photos and videos to share within your trips.
• Device Data: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, IP address, and mobile network information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to provide, maintain, and improve the App’s features, including:

• Facilitating trip creation, itinerary organization, and media sharing among user-authorized groups or publicly (depending on your privacy settings).
• Displaying photos on interactive maps using embedded location metadata (EXIF data) or geotags.
• Enabling social interactions, such as sharing trips with contacts, inviting co-travelers, or commenting.
• Maintaining app security, preventing fraudulent activity, and diagnosing technical issues.
• Complying with legal obligations and enforcing our Terms of Service.

3. How Your Information Is Shared

We do not sell your personal data. We share your information only under the following circumstances:

• With Other Users: Trips, itineraries, and photos you explicitly choose to share or publish are visible to the specific users or groups you designate (e.g., trip companions or public followers).
• Service Providers: Third-party vendors and cloud infrastructure providers (e.g., hosting services, analytics platforms, database management) that assist us in operating the App under strict confidentiality agreements.
• Legal Requirements: When required by law, subpoena, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of Pasiar, our users, or the public.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

• Retention: We retain your personal data and media for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide you with the App’s services.
• Data Deletion: You may delete individual photos, trips, or your entire account directly through the App settings. Upon account deletion, your personal data and shared content will be removed from our active servers within 30 days, except where legal compliance requires longer retention.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to safeguard your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Children’s Privacy

Pasiar is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us so we can delete the data promptly.

7. Your Choices & Controls

• Permissions: You can revoke access to your Location, Camera, or Photos at any time through your mobile device’s settings menu.
• Privacy Settings: You can control the visibility of your trips and shared media through the in-app privacy controls.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy within the App or via email before the changes take effect.
